Services are Saturday, October 4, 2003 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Roland A. Jank officiating. There will be a family prayer service on Saturday at 10:15 AM at the church. Interment will be on Saturday at 1:30 PM at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Leigh, Nebraska. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home and on Saturday, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the church. Olga Louise Asche was born February 19, 1905 in rural Leigh, Nebraska to Adolph and Ida (Barjenburch) Asche. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Leigh, Nebraska. Olga attended District 43 Platte County, Zion Lutheran Parochial School and graduated from Leigh High School in 1924. She lived on the family farm with her parents, before moving to Columbus in 1956. Olga was a domestic worker. While living in Leigh, she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus.
